LA by Joshua Pierre
Probably not a book, simply a limited series that follows a man named Leonard Anderson who is being interviewed by a psychiatrist in a mental institution about how he ended up there in the first place. He begins telling an extravagant story of his life as an elite in LA with his body guards and their lifestyle when suddenly a list emerges with seven names (including Leonard’s) that an assassin is hunting them down to kill them. As the bodies start to drop, the people on the list team up together to fight back as they search for the truth of why they were put on the list in the first place. Due to the fact that this story has a twist ending I’m limited to what I can say that happens but it is a mystery/crime-action flick that will focus on stellar fighting choreography and character study on the misdirection of the purpose of the events.
