California City Kings by Joshua Pierre

This is a hypothetical idea kind of story-slash-essay. California City is the 3rd largest by acreage city in all of California. With so much potential and land I never understood why it wasn’t developed into a large city. Well the answer is simple: Edwards Air Force Base. With all of the test flying and top secret things being developed in the Antelope Valley as well, this keeps the area from being able to grow upwards. Limited development is best for the state of military and aviation production and testing. But if it were possible, this would be the best place to make a new city that can rival that of Los Angeles and Las Vegas. In the story we follow a group of cultivators looking to create the new great artistic city. I’ll go into large detail discussing education that’s taught in this new district and its university, along with the possible purchase of an NFL team, growing as an agricultural giant, technological advanced transportation systems, grow and live homes and land, testing for new creations, competitive employment through city run developments that look to employ everyone living there and giving them enough time to do anything they want and only required to work during certain times of the year. It’s a new type of city that looks towards progression and adjusting life to fit the wants and needs of the new generations while also keeping in mind that our new generations must become even smarter to combat the enemies of the future. Being near an air force base can be the most helpful thing. It’s simply a concept that will be refuted by tons of people because everyone is afraid of genuinely making some awesome changes to the country and are content listening to laws created by people from the 1700s when the way of life has not been taken into account by the current government system. There’s something better. People just have to come together and figure it out but this will be my idea of a semi-way of helping the country get to a better place, or at the very least thinking of progress in a different way. I guess you have to read it to know but I’m going to be less open about any of these ideas but they will play a role into the book universe for the characters of all of my stories.

Pyramid Network by Joshua Pierre

Another hypothetical idea that focuses on technology. There should be a console that is in the shape of a pyramid that has a built in Wi-Fi system, gaming console, phone sim cards, computer, holograms, communication network, and runs on natural energy. The only things that are sold are the shells for phones, tablets, laptops, TVs, and portable components because there will be SIM cards that can be put into any of the shells and is designated towards your identification number registered into the network that hosts the product itself. Each home should have one and anyone with one can choose or not choose to communicate with anyone with the same pyramid. Even if an EMP went off, this is an organic electrical system and will always function as long as it is given either water power, wind power, or solar power. This also allows people to be off of the grid and does not allow advertisement to influence the minds of the users. Everything is custom for the users. We choose our own media and can access anything we choose to including the depths of the internet without risk of being tracked or found. All public information and useable skills can be learned and taught through network education. All homes in California City would have this as well. The gaming console also looks to unify the capability of playing any game the same way PC does. Also, the pyramid would have exclusive content developed by the developer that allows us to set ourselves apart from the conglomerates that look to rule over us. The future is technology but sacrificing our safety and security for that is simply against our human rights. Also the product should not be $1000 or any crazy number, it should be to grow and adapt every year through updates the networks provide. If a new rig is needed, it is supplied to people at a discounted rate because we appreciate the fact that people use the product in the first place. Customer satisfaction is a big part of this idea. Making life easier. I wonder, now that I have allowed people to read this, will I be a target or do people think this is just not possible. Who knows, but it’s too good of an idea not to mention. Besides, this product is thought of by myself and my cousin, Dane Tidwell. One of those stoned conversations that led to genius. Can’t tell me different.
